A wondering backpack stuck in Miami airport, thanks to Sim’s last minute purchase of Apple AirTags we saw that it was in Miami right away so was actually not too stressful! Bag was back at our hostel the next day, very impressed.

The skies were grey our whole trip! Very few tourist which meant we weren’t hassled at all which was quite nice. Super busy city. Our hostel had very few english speaking travellers. Bike trip with Jose who introduced us to Granadilla…. Absolute game changer!! Part of the passionfruit family, only much sweeter. The EasyJet orange outer skin was similar to an eggshell, cracking open revealed what looks like frogspawn which you slurp up using your tongue… Very messy but very delicious!

We did a free walking tour and we were the only people who showed up. The tour guide was lovely but was a little odd… and LOUD lol. He introduced is to San Fransisco Churros which are traditional Peruvian churros and they were absolutely delicious!!!! We returned the following day and the lady laughed when seeing us as she recognised that we were back so soon. The tour guide also told us about “Chifa” which is Peruvian/Cantonese cuisine, we went to China town and got some the following day. It was delicious, but we failed to see the Peruvian influence. To us it was just Chinese food.
